sweet early worksheets here - a very useful blank page (with lines
drawn for little children), practice patterns, a page for each
letter individually and one for the whole alphabet. There is also
one for numbers. Further down the page there are lots of themed
blank writing pages which you could use for practice throughout the
year as appropriate.
BoohBah
Young children and their parents may already know the BoohBahs. This
site has lots of fun activities for little computer-users and not a
word of explanation - they have to work out what to do. "It's

with children in the birth-8 year age range. They focus on
children's mathematical graphics and the meanings children make.
A fascinating site and well worth a look. (Oh, and it's a site that
ICTeachers built!)

Suite of free programs for early learning. There are

An American site based on phonics. Lots of early
reading activities, stories etc.
The Treasure Tree
Literacy and RE activities for Foundation and
KS1.There are a range of traditional tales, rhymes
and bible stories, as well as story starters,
familiar story settings and cross curricular
resources. Many of the resources are interactive,
and most have supporting games/puzzles or PDF
printables. There are free resources on the "Free
Tasters" section, the rest are accessible through
subscription (monthly, 6 mothly or yearly).
Underfives
This is an independent site which promotes
pre-school education and provides free learning resources, practical information and help
to all early years practitioners and parents. The site also has resources for use with
under fives.
UpToTen Free Site
online games and activities. They claim to be for
children up to 10 years old but seem much more aimed
at FS and KS1 age groups. Fun, though.
