Visible for miles around, The Wrekin, in Shropshire, is the remains of a long extinct volcano. The little hill at the right-hand end is called Ercall (the one on the left is called Little Hill!)

2 views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Bernese Oberland. One view is from low down near the valley floor, the other from a higher vantage point. Notice the snow capped peaks in the distance and the waterfalls cascading down the cliffs on the right hand side of the picture (especially in the second image).  Sunset at Glacier Bay, Alaska. The Margerie Glacier, Alaska. This is just part of the glacier; it is over 450 ft high (about 150 metres). A glacier calving - this is when large chunks fall off the snout of a glacier and form icebergs; these eventually melt and return water to the sea.
This is the Sawyer Glacier in Alaska.

The edge of an iceberg. You can clearly see the way that the edge is being eroded as it melts.
