Several people seemed to want more info about CIRCLE TIME. (Books below)
It happens once a week in all classes R - 6. A record is kept of games used, themes focussed on etc, so that you don't go over same stuff too often although it makes sense to revisit themes.
We got lots of things slated during our OFSTED last March, but this was one aspect that was praised unreservedly. Older classes sometimes use short TV programs on video to watch (Eg: FOCUS, Who Me? Good Health series during Sex Ed and stuff on morals drugs, etc) and then discuss with group activities back in the circle in the classroom.
